We will convene leading educators and intellectuals to address one of the most pressing challenges facing the Jewish community: how to nurture the intellectual, moral, and civic development of young people in an age of digital distraction.
Together, we will broaden our understanding of what it means to educate in a rapidly-evolving digital world and think together about how we prepare a rising generation to meet the moral and intellectual challenges of the modern age.

Last spring, Tikvah hosted an inaugural summit for Jewish day school leaders, a watershed event that awakened and galvanized our broader community regarding this impact of screens on our children. Since our summit, dozens of Jewish day schools went phone-free and committed to cultivating healthier communal norms related to technology usage.
